TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PENCAK SILAT SHORT FILM AND PHOTO COMPETITION
Commemorating 4 Years of UNESCO's Recognition of The Tradition of Pencak Silat as Intangible Cultural
Heritage of the World "Pencak Silat: Strength of the Culturally Empowered Nation"
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- The competition is open to the public
- Participants are required to follow PSII's IG & FB:
psilat_institut_indonesia and SSI: silat_sunda_institute - Theme for Short Film and Photo: "Pencak Silat: Strength of the Noble Culture Nation"
- Must contain elements of Wiraga - Wirasa - Wirama
- Content must not contain SARA (ethnic, religious, racial, and intergroup) issues
- Participants are allowed to use digital cameras/smartphones/action cameras/drones of any brand and type
- Digital editing is allowed, limited to basic adjustments: brightness/contrast level, hue/saturation
- Digital editing is not allowed to alter the authenticity of objects and/or remove/change elements in the film/photo
- Music/songs and other materials (photos, graphics, etc.) must not violate copyright
- Participants are required to upload their Film & Photo works on their personal Instagram and mention

ending with #(hashtag) #lombafilmpendekdanfotografipencaksilat #psii #pencaksilat #warisanbudayatakbenda - The submitted film/photo works must be original creations and have not been previously published or entered in other Short Film
and Photo Competitions - The winning Short Film and Photo works become the property of PSII and SSI, and if used for PSII publications, the winner's
name will be credited and written notification will be given to the winner - The winning Short Film and Photo works will be displayed on the Organizers' YouTube and social media accounts
- The works and objects contained in the Films and Photos are the responsibility of the participants
- The Organizers will not entertain any form of claims from any party regarding the film/photo objects
- The Jury's decision is final, valid, and cannot be contested
- By submitting works to the Pencak Silat Short Film and Photography Competition, participants agree to the terms and conditions
set by the Organizers - If evidence is found later that the authenticity of a winning work is questionable, the organizers have the right to cancel and
withdraw the awards/prizes that have been given - Short Film:
a) Participant/Team consists of 3 or more people
b) Registration fee is Rp. 200000 per team
c) HD quality with 720p/1080p Resolution, Format: mp4 with codec h264/h265/av1 with max bitrate 10MBps
d) Film duration is 3 minutes including opening and credit title
e) Short Film work should be titled: Film Title_Name
f) Participants must include a team biography that include address, phone number, and active social media
g) Judging criteria: originality, story idea, editing technique and cinematography, artistic arrangement, theme relevance, and
message conveyed
h) Works should be uploaded to each participant's Google Drive, the link sent along with proof of registration fee transfer to
https://bit.ly/lombafotofilmpendek2. Files must be kept until the end of the competition announcement
i) Registration fee of Rp 200.000 should be transferred to BJB bank account no: 0133 6989 22100 in the name of Silat Sunda Institute - Photo:
a) Maximum longest side of the photo is 3500 pixels, minimum longest side is 1920 pixels, with a minimum resolution of 200 dpi
b) File format should be JPEG/JPG, and participants are required NOT TO DELETE EXIF
c) Works should be sent via email to: ps.institut.indonesia@gmail.com
d) Photo works should be titled (Photo Title)_(Name)
e) Participants must include a brief biography that include address, phone number, and active social media
f) Judging criteria: originality of story idea, artistic arrangement, theme relevance, message conveyed
