Taking place from <strong>29 November to 5 December 2026<\/strong>, this unique international camp brings together practitioners, enthusiasts, and cultural explorers from around the world to learn authentic <strong>Sundanese Pencak Silat<\/strong>, traditional weapon systems, meditation practices, inner-strength development, and Indonesian cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Located near the majestic <strong>Mount Cikuray<\/strong>, one of Indonesia\u2019s most iconic stratovolcanoes, the camp provides a natural environment that supports intensive martial arts training, meditation, and personal development. Participants will experience a full week of instruction covering traditional Pencak Silat movements, close combat applications, Cimande muscle conditioning, Semedi (traditional meditation), breathing and energy training, as well as traditional weapon arts including <strong>Double Golok<\/strong>, <strong>Etem (Sundanese Karambit)<\/strong>, and <strong>Limbuhan (short-stick combat)<\/strong>. The program also includes a traditional <strong>Kujang Ceremony Experience<\/strong>, connecting participants with the rich spiritual and cultural traditions of Sundanese heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training is led by respected instructors with decades of experience in Indonesian martial arts. <strong>Roedy Wiranatakusumah<\/strong>, Founder of Silat Sunda Institute and Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Pencak Silat Association, brings more than 50 years of experience in traditional Pencak Silat and has served as a trainer for the Indonesian Armed Forces. The camp emphasizes the values of discipline, character building, self-awareness, respect for tradition, and connection with nature. Recreational activities include visits to the famous natural hot springs located approximately 30 minutes from the training site, allowing participants to relax and recover while enjoying the scenic beauty of West Java.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The International Pencak Silat Camp is designed for practitioners of all levels, from beginners seeking an introduction to Indonesian martial arts to advanced martial artists looking to deepen their knowledge of authentic Sundanese fighting systems. The program fee includes training sessions, accommodation, meals, and an official certificate of participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Silat Sunda Institute is dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional martial arts and cultural heritage of the Sundanese people.
